Great Night For DFR!

This past Saturday night was a good one for the DFR cars of Kevin Sr. and Derek. Both had good qualifying efforts, but Derek had his fastest qualifying effort ever at the Plymouth Speedway. The heat races were next and Kevin Sr. spun early after getting into some debris on the track from the previous race, but he did get back on track to have a solid finish. Derek raced the #18 machine from the back of his heat to finish second. The feature was exciting, as Derek got boxed in behind a slower car in the inside lane the leaders got about a straight away lead on him before he cleared the car. Derek was not done though because he set his sights on them and was reeling them in, but he ran out of laps. Derek took the checkers in third while Kevin Sr. came home in fourth giving DFR the best overall feature finish ever. Join us next weekend at the Plymouth Speedway as DFR looks to build on their current momentum and chase that elusive feature win. We will see you at the races!
