Saturday July 19th: This past Saturday was questionable to say the least with the weather, but we did race. With weather threatening the whole night both qualifying and the heat races were scratched, so the features could be run. The feature was eventful enough as Drew got loose coming off of turn four, over-corrected it and then turned back left in front of the entire field and not one car touched him! Derek raced his way through the field up to 3rd, Drew raced back up to 7th and Kevin Sr. raced his way back up to 9th after a late race mishap. Join us next weekend as the DFR cars continue their drive towards a championship!

Derek Captures His 1st Feature Win!

Sunday July 13th: Sunday was a special event as the CRA Super Series was at the Plymouth Speedway for a 200 lap feature event. The mini stocks were the only class from the Plymouth Speedway weekly show in attendance, and we were only running a feature. Kevin II was back in action, but this time he was piloting the #81 Drew usually drives. In qualifying Derek lead the way for the DFR cars (5th quick overall), and Kevin II had his fastest qualifying effort of the season with his limited seat time. After the CRA cars ran their feature it was time for our feature. Derek wasted no time working through the field to get the lead. Derek was not ready to let what happened the night before happen again, and he raced his way to his first feature win! Kevin Sr. came home ninth while Kevin II brought it home in 12th. Join us next week at the Plymouth Speedway while the DFR cars look to continue their winning ways.
